I thought I'd give it a go this past weekend... I'm on my third character so far; this is hard, but I am having fun. Really makes you pay attention to what is going on. My current mage is going well... I added her to the tracker. Here's what I rolled - all playing on Earthen Ring:

ironttokker - died level 9 (quest mob and 2 other)

second

3 - tauren
6 - shaman
2 - female
??? (deleted it before I remembered to get the name) - died level 4 (quest mob - level 5)

third
1 - alliance
5 - draenei
7 - mage
2 - female
Ironcasuunda - So far so good - Level 12

So I decided (after visiting my mailbox) that my "iron" characters will not use any free mounts (purchased-irl, account-bound ones)... I will earn them in game.

BTW... 2 more levels for Ironcasuunda - now 14
